In six short weeks the 2nd annual Original Art Expo (OAX) returns, exclusively showcasing original comic, illustration, collector card, comic strip, and other narrative art forms – and will be the biggest gathering of this category’s art collectors in the world. With more than 500 Collectors, 70+ Artists, and over 35 Art centric Sellers and Auction Houses exhibiting, OAX 2025 is proud to be the host of the largest Art Drop in our Industry. For year two, OAX has expanded to cover the venue’s entire 60,000+ square foot convention center.
New for OAX 2025 are two areas devoted to Card Art and Illustration Art. The Card Art Expo (CAX) will host several Artists and Exhibitors unique to both Trading Card Art and Sketch Card Art collecting. Artists Tony Perna, Peejay Catacutan, and Ash Gonzales have already been announced as Guests of CAX.
Within the CAX event space is area devoted to a Box Break Battle, a Marvel Trading Card ranked competition for exclusive prizes, which will be live streamed from an arena with wall sized projection screens to capture the excitement! The Illustration Art Expo (IAX) was announced last month and earlier this week we announced that Julie Bell will be attending IAX. Artists Dan Dos Santos, David Palumbo and Carlos Soca are attending OAX for the first time and will be set up in IAX, while returning Artists George Pratt, James Martin and Myles Wohl will also be setting up in our inaugural expo dedicated to the Illustration Arts.

OAX is the premier narrative art-focused event in the world that exclusively showcases original comic book, illustration, collector card, comic strip, and other visual storytelling art. With a minimum of 70 prominent artists and 200 total exhibitors in attendance, and with attendee tickets limited to only 800, OAX offers an intimate and immersive three-day can’t miss trade show and art fair hybrid, as well as the largest and most anticipated new art drop event of the year!
Our event begins Friday, January 24th from 5-8pm EST with a VIP Reception and CAF 22nd Anniversary Party with most Artists and Exhibitors in attendance. Over the weekend the Show floor will be open from 10am to 5pm EST both Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th. The OAX Art Auction and pizza party is Saturday evening from 6-8:30pm EST and this year includes an open bar.
